The Objective:

Redesign the Nate Gilbert film and entertainment company identity.

Ensuring to keep the vision of the client while making the brand trendy and long lasting. The clients main ideal was to make his brand more professional for the future.

The Solution:

I took into account the clients previous logo, and the fact this is an umbrella company so I made sure the logo was strong and identifiable to be used in conjunction with other brands with the clients unique spin.

ORIGINAL LOGO

The original logo (on the left) was
created by the client himself. He loved
this as it has character but felt that it was not professional enough for the future, so while renaming he thought to rebrand and make everything cohesive. 

The client wanted the name of the company to be something other than just his own name. There were originally a few options; Gilbert Media, Nate Gilbert and Gilbert Entertainment. After working and sketching logos he decided to change the name from Nate Gilbert to Gilbert Entertainment.

FINAL PRIMARY LOGOS

BUSINESS CARD

This business card is the classic size of 3.5" x 2" with a circular edge. I designed this as it mimics the curve of the 'G'. The brand itself if reasonably minimal so I wanted to keep the back of the card consistent while having some of the brand characteristics. This also makes the card unique and easily identifiable.
