Overpopulation Campaign

The Objective:

Create a social campaign that stands out to make a change. Overpopulation is one of the biggest issues affecting our environment, yet it is one of the least talked about and acted upon. Issues like climate change, water shortages and pollution are majority of what people know, but overpopulation is the overarching cause.

The Solution:

To get more attention on the topic, this concept targets the unexpected. Doing the opposite of the medical industry, which can be seen as one cause of overpopulation, this campaign uses humour to promote decreasing life expectancy. This is the face of the campaign that creates a sense of curiosity for the audience to find out the better ways they can help overcome the issue.

 We are the problem 

POSTER SERIES

Everyday people travel to work through the hustle and bustle of traffic, but no one ever thinks about the consequences of all those people. These posters aim is to grab their attention through the unexpected eyebrow line. Paired with cartoon style imagery it makes the meaning more comical.

LEAFLET

To ensure the leaflet isn't by-passed,
I made it stand out with the ability to 'spread it's 'wings'. Not only does this 3D element help it be more eye catching but it makes it easier to show the message that this is a solution. Angels are not only seen as someone you could become after death but is also a
phrase used to praise

someone helpful.

The aid kit is made to be sold in stores for people to buy. Some of the profit will go towards people in need of contraception, like in third world countries. People would also have the option to buy these packs in advance to be delivered to people in need.
